One day a small, sad penguin was standing behind the Kryštof's door.
Why is she sad?
Is it lost?
Where do penguins live?
How to get there?
Or does the penguin want anything else?

One day someone knocked on Kryštof's door. And behind the door stood a little penguin. He looked a little sad. Maybe he got lost? Or does he know how to get home? Where do penguins live? How to get there? Perhaps the penguin would want something else after Kryštof? We'll tell you about it. It will be a story about an unexpected encounter. About the long search. About Sailing by Sea. About the adventurous journey to the South Pole. In short, the journey of the boy Kryštof and the little penguin, who still looks a little sad, to a firm friendship. Our puppet narration is for the youngest audience of two and, of course, their parents and grandparents.

The production will be prepared with the actors of Alfa Theater by a married couple from Ostrava, director and stage designer Tomáš Volkmer and theater lecturer and dramaturgist Hana Volkmerová. Both have been creating and lecturing art-educational programs for children of different ages, from toddlers to teenagers and university students, for over 15 years. In their home Puppet Theater in Ostrava, they recently created an interactive performance for toddlers called Bato and Lato. It is primarily the first meeting of such small children with the theater. They regularly prepare productions for children at the Czech-Polish Scene Bajka in Český Těšín and bear the trademark for educational lessons with puppets with therapeutic effects, which are intended for kindergarten children and children with specific needs and sensory or physical disabilities and combined defects. Lessons can be recorded either under the title Therapy by a Puppet in the Theatr Ludo Association or Pan Barvička in the Puppet Theater in Ostrava.
