A giant cyclops eating sailors, the sorceress Kirké who turns people into pigs, the sea monsters Charybdis and Skylla or the terrifying underworld. These are the dangerous traps that await the clever and cunning Odysseus, King of Ithaca, on his way home from the Trojan War.

We follow Odysseus' destiny from the moment he constructs the fabled Trojan Horse, the famous gift of the Danaans that wreaks havoc on a great and proud city. Troy is not conquered honourably, but by Odysseus' stratagem. This alone arouses the displeasure of the Greek gods, and the Ithacan king's other actions also incite the gods against him. As punishment, he has to wander the sea for twenty years and face many obstacles before he can return home.
