A traditional grand celebration of the anniversary of the liberation of the city of Pilsen by American troops at the end of World War II is in full swing. The streets of the West Bohemian metropolis are packed with enthusiastic spectators. The most distinguished guest of this year's ceremony is the famous superhero, Captain America. However, the idyll of the celebration is shattered by a terrifying message from the Skvrňany Observatory. A giant asteroid is hurtling toward Pilsen at incredible speed. Panic breaks out in the city, but fortunately, it is quickly quelled by Captain America, who is present. He and his team of hastily summoned superheroes decide to save Pilsen.
Meanwhile, at the Pilsen Puppet Museum, the team of the most famous Czech and Pilsen heroes – classic puppet characters – is feverishly preparing for the same rescue mission. Led by the eloquent Kaspar, the team includes the invulnerable Headless Knight, the water-resistant Water Sprite, and the flying Devil. However, instead of rushing to save the city, both teams, much to the surprise of the frightened citizens of Pilsen, engage in a fierce battle over who has the right to save Pilsen.
How will the heroes' battle end? Where will the asteroid land? And how will it all turn out? This is all revealed in the comedy directed by Tomáš Dvořák, based on the play by Vít Peřina.
