For two police officers, it was supposed to be just another ordinary afternoon shift. But suddenly, a mysterious old man appears and tells them they'll have to go with him. Where to? To the realm of fairy tales.
In classic fairy tales, crimes are rampant. A sly fox kidnaps an innocent child into its den, a jealous Queen poisons the beautiful Snow White, intrusive Goblins torment the naive Smolíček... But in fairy tales, these acts are always punished and corrected. But what if one day Evil breaks loose in fairy tales? What if things start happening that are completely atypical for the familiar fairy tales? At that moment, the Fairy Tale Grandfather must step in, and as the guardian of the Fairy Tale Realm, he must restore everything to its proper course. And if he can't do it on his own, he'll have no choice but to use his secret passageways to the Human World and kidnap two detective professionals.
This detective puppet comedy was written by Vítek Peřina, adding another piece to his series of fairy tale adaptations and parodies created for Alfa Theatre in the past (e.g., Little Otesánek, James Blond, The Gingerbread House, Careful, Zorro! and others). The set design was created by Marek Zákostelecký, and the play was directed by Tomáš Dvořák.
