Get ready for a grotesque in the style of spaghetti westerns, featuring traditional hand puppets!
Indian Pádístepí, the last of his tribe, is tasked by Manitou with planting a totem, building a two-generation tipi, and fathering a son. In the course of fulfilling his mission, he discovers a source of flowing chocolate, which both the treacherous Comanche tribe and the local desperado Pedro want to claim as their own. Pádístepí becomes the victim of the intrigues of his false friend Pedro, and in good faith, he sets off for the town, where he is thrown into prison. There, he meets the beautiful dancer Dolores, who helps him escape from prison and supports Pádístepí in his quest to reclaim lost land and fulfill his mission.
It’s a story in which betrayal, love, and buffaloes play the main roles. The tribe’s director at Alfa, Tomsa Legierski, teamed up with contemporary authors Blahoslav Fajmon and Martin Marek, who wrote for the Plzeň theatre for the very first time. The set design was created by the experienced set designer Ivan Nesveda.
